Meet Melanie,
Founder of Sakeenah & Co.

Assalamu Alaikum, and welcome. My name is Melanie—also known as Habiba. 

I am a revert Muslim and a proud Latina. Alhamdulillāh, I embraced Islam over ten years ago on the blessed day of Arafah.

My journey to Islam began in my early twenties when I discovered the beauty of this deen and the transformative message of the Qur’an. Like many reverts, my path was not without challenges, especially within my family. But through patience and duāa, Allah softened hearts. Today, my parents ask thoughtful questions about Islam — and for that, I am deeply grateful. May Allah guide them to the straight path, Allāhumma Ameen.

From a young age, I found comfort in organization, structure, and intentional living. Planning was never a chore for me — it was a form of peace. High-quality notebooks, minimalistic stationery, and thoughtfully designed tools have always been part of my everyday life. This love only grew stronger as I stepped into motherhood.

Sakeenah & Co was born from the intersection of faith and function. It is more than a stationery brand — it is a movement toward living with intention. Our mission is to help you stay organized, stay on top of your deen, and create space to reconnect and thrive with sakeenah, serenity.
