Founder of Sakeenah & Co.

Assalamu Alaikum,

I’m Melanie — a Latina revert Muslim, wife, mother, and the founder of Sakeenah & Co.

Alhamdulillah, I embraced Islam over ten years ago on the blessed Day of Arafah. Like many reverts, my journey wasn’t always easy. Navigating family relationships, learning my deen, and trying to build a life centered around Islam came with its challenges. But through Allah’s mercy, patience, and countless du’as, I’ve witnessed hearts soften and doors open in ways I never imagined.

One thing that has always brought me peace is organization. Ever since I was young, I loved planners, notebooks, lists, and creating systems that helped me feel grounded. As I grew in my faith and later became a mother, I realized something important: staying organized isn’t just about productivity — it’s about creating space for what matters most.

That’s how Sakeenah & Co. was born.

I couldn’t find stationery that reflected both my love for beautiful design and my desire to stay connected to my deen. So I decided to create it.

Sakeenah & Co. is for the Muslims who wants to manage their responsibilities without losing sight of their relationship with Allah. The one juggling goals, family, work, studies, and personal growth while trying to show up as the best version of themselves.

Every planner, notebook, and stationery piece is thoughtfully designed to help you stay organized, intentional, and connected to your purpose. Because productivity feels different when it’s rooted in faith.

My hope is that our products become more than just stationery on your desk. I hope they become part of your daily routines, your goals, your reflections, and those quiet moments that bring you back to Allah.
